Love is the anti-christ

When is love great? When he thinks he's found that special someone, right? When that happens he starts to neglect his real friends and his real work. His real work is anything that makes sense and triggers his mind much like a quick toot of coke. For anyone who has found "real love" plz stop reading this now. And oh yeah, the "he and she" in this incoherent rambling could almost definitely be reversed in any situation.
When he's unfortunate enough to find someone at a very young age who he thinks is perfect, things seemingly make sense to him for a while. He thinks that life couldn't get much better. At first, him and her are love struck, inseparable. Yeah, so he drinks a little too much here and there, but she rags on him a little more than neccessary.
After a year or two with her, he thinks about how much she is starting to annoy him, so he feels it alright to take her for granted. Not completely, but just enough for her to notice and resent him completely later on down the road. Even through this, he would still take a bullet for her.
After he takes her for granted for another couple of years, he wonders why, one day, she tells him she just wants to be friends, so he thinks to himself, "after I devoted three fucking years of my life, neglected my real friends, and fried my brain with all the romantic horse shit movies i watched with you, you want to break up?"
But that's not the worst part. The worst part definitely has to be the first few months after the break up, when she tries to get on with her life and can somehow completely forget about him. Kind of like she didn't give a shit in the first place about him. Yeah, that stings a little bit, especially when he searches for answers, and the only answer that he finds is that she is emotionally unstable and he is going completely fucking insane.
So what does he have to say after all this? "Fuck love" "Love is the anti-christ."
But what kind of love should be fucked? Ignorant, blind, and unsure love for starters. Love where you have to put on a mask when you meet the parents. Love where you have to put on a mask to please your lover! Fuck that.
Real raw love is out there, and no sort of criteria need apply, only raw passionate emotion. Someone is out there that doesn't want to change the way he is, but would rather listen to his gripes, watch a movie in the nude with him and listen and actually give a shit about a poem he wrote for her......
well i'll stop there before I regret anything more I have to say on this fine thursday morning january 10th year 1 A.L.
