For some reason it hit me like a brick tonight that I miss my freinds in Seattle. I know that only Marky remains (and my friends Stuart, J Dog, Louis, John) and Mav is on his way to NYC, but I had some great times at Tommy mansion, in the pubs, on the soccer pitch- even if everyone else hated me including my own team mates, and knowing the Seattle women there. I doubt I'll go back soon but it was the people, the time and YES the place of Pax Acidus for a while. Like life Pax keeps moving on.

Henry always makes a point of telling people he is from Seattle. We will return. Last week in the mountains, which it took me two plane rides to get to, I remembered that I could get to and from, as well as up and down, Tiger Mountain (with Henry on my back ) before lunch. I also climbed rattlesnake ridge with Tinka - who fancied McC and climbed Little Si with Julie - who used to shag his brother. She stripped me naked and gave me a massage and I fell asleep. How un paxacidus can you get?!!!!!!

Some friends here have bet us 100 bucks or the best bottle of wine they can find locally that we will be here for the next five years. (They are from Melbourne) we have taken that bet. We will return to the mothership (Microsoft/Seattle) more than likely on the evil eastside, but we'll be home. You can come and visit us. Doubtless there will be at least three queers living in my basement as the three in question have already outlined their plans to spend their golden years getting drunk and doped up under my care.

Ha! My favorite part of that post is that I can hear how it would sound coming out of your mouth. Damnit, now you all have made me miss the golden age of Pax in Seattle too.

Yeah, I've considered going down the George & Dragon several times, but I know that very soon I'd just start crying and leave. My new friend Paul from Essex doesn't have much interest in going there, but even if he did, it wouldn't be the same.

I miss all of you guys a lot more than I ever tell. I feel really unfortunate sometimes that you're gone because I guess normally I would blame myself but it's not even my fault, so I don't even have the luxury of self-pity. Or something like that.

Now what is this term Tommy says above? "Fucking Crackers" jesus I love that. Is that a common term I'm just not familiar with? I think I'm going to start saying that all the time now "completely fucking crackers"...
