I would like to report to all the faithful here at Paxacidus that I have finished reading and doing minor edits on McCutcheon's first novel, Burnt Roof of Mouth, and it is not only worthy of paxacidus, it IS paxacidus embodied. In my opinion, he should have no trouble getting it published, at least if he and Martin manage to get it to publishers who aren't afraid of stories that are honest about young people doing drugs, fucking, and sometimes doing a little philosophizing. Goddamn it, I want to go to Paris NOW, and make a short pit stop in New York on the way...

Great job Mc, and I cant wait to see it in print.

i agree with sarah about the Pax Acidus title. I dont think it would be entirely appropriate. but since the book contains our writing (i mean everyone that posts here) how about The Book of Bad Behavior. that seems quite fitting.

Rabbit you are so right on. good idea. I was gonna suggest: 1. Electric ejaculations or Universal Make Believe. So how about we go with END CUNT: Universal Make Believe of Bad Behavior. And we do it as a Pax Acidus Publication. Can we get the rights to that picture? And I think we should throw a whole lot of shit into it, poetry and writing in it, fiction and non fiction. And I think we should always consult the girlies because they are, you know, cuddly and cute and have opinions that are not as crude as us boys who might get caught up in the early Miller thing and disappear right up our own asses. Besides I’m told girls have cunts. But really what I think we need is actually a few more chicks to write stuff. Natalie who sent me the hot topless picture also writes and so does Merandra. But that might be breaking the rules of who is a Pax Acidus person. But then again anyone as hot as Natalie who sends me pictures like that is on the Bus as far as I’m concerned. The only problem is she sent me a few pictures but none of her writing. Anyway I say gooooooo rabbit. You might just have won yourself an early peek at Burnt.
