So here's my bad poetry, just for your enjoyment...

you loose people.
not in forgetting,
But forgetting
to loose.

The creatures ten times
taller,
and so tiny as to be
a stepping stone.

you forget them.
because you
loose people whose answers
don't make you happy.

i think of the days when i was happy,
when was that?
looking at lovers who make me cringe, poems, long drawn out poems of nothing and little in their hearts
because
they don't know what it is like to care for the afflicted, smelly and deteriorating.
to spend too much time with a lover that makes you never want to see them again.
living through countless addictions
weak strippers and men with no boners.
fuck you, fuck you and fuck your words and your women.
i would rather suffer a night of tuberculosis
than another rendevous with your time or presence.
and i wish i had the poetic skills to embellish, but i don't give a fuck!
when you see me on the streets,
retreat,
because i wish the worst for anyone who has caused me pain.
no longer will i love
only set fire to your superficial brain.
fuck you and fuck you again!

rosie it's easy to tell you are in a deep dark funk. you have my sympathy. i don't know exactly how bad it is but i have an idea.

i know how difficult it is to get out of a hole of hate and negativity. and i am not going to preach to you how important it is to banish the negative shit from your mind and excorcise the hate from your heart.

but it has to be done. living well is the best, no: the only way to get revenge. and you can't live well without love. there is no love if you can't give it. no se puede vivir sin amar.

don't let the motherfuckers win. you are too good to give it up.

jc, a little story about a chicken with her head cut off

I burn a cd for the hubby -- you know the kind -- the one thousand songs of our lives, so we're in the car, and it's playing and he starts talking about his bike. I say you're not listening. We have a brief argument. I get pissed. I hit eject, roll down the window, and toss it. It sails off into never never land. I spent an hour putting the thing together, and it took me all of two seconds to throw it out of the window. Chicken!!

i think he is paraphrasing the nihilist philosophy. quite nicely done, if you ask me.

but i wouldn't want to have to listen to it at a reading unless some big shot actor did it who was able to put lots of different nuances into the word 'shit'. like 'shee-it', shittt, SHHHit, etc. think jack nicholson, "the shit monologues" .

I stayed up all night last night working away on it and now it's 3x as long. A whole lot more shit. The poem is a celebration of life, as I see it. I first wrote it in French and then translated it. Merde. Pas pied a merde.
