i talk, no one is ever interested in my topics of discussion, though. in fact my posting on an already existing subject seems to shut down the whole damn conversation. no one cares about snowboarding or reykjavik. no one cares about my elaborate best day imaginable. but i will continue posting. i haven't seen you guys, sloth, mccutcheon, in ages. you should give me a call sometime. i have a new number, though.

Jack, Jack, jack i won't blow anything and the telephone scares me. my intellect is fading, well i say it is. ain't reading too much just trying to make this fucking movie. got to say i've read most the books you mentioned. can't do burroughs though. Favorite book of all time. "A Happy Death" by Camus. i read it on a camping trip with (coincidence) Mccutcheon. and I think Jack Chiefton was there but later. Anyways i was feeling all shitty and depressed as i used to often feel those days. i woke at six in the morning inside a crooked tent i could no longer bear. I hiked though an amazing fog up a hill, which in those days i called a mountain, but California shook those notions out of my head. i sat on a crooked bench and read the thing straight through as the sun came up. Camus is not an author he's a philosopher. and i learned the incredible power of indifference. and not that I applied it to my life but in situations i can't get out of I've learned to ball it up into indifference, then I'm left with this almost arrogant happiness and believe me it beats tears. hmmm maybe thats why I haven't cried in eleven years. I'm still waiting for the breakdown. Jack Chiefton thanks for reminding me i think I'll re read the book today. As for gettin' stoned talk. I smoked the fuck out of some salvia but it was burning at a high enough temperature so I'll have to put it in my bong. then I'll be able to crack the Aztec secrets and collect matter on my arms like cotton in a tornado...Ryan

hey ROB, ya jaaag off. Pick those fucking weeds or the wrath will be unleashed from the beast. But seriously, good to here from you....really good. My women is finally back here so I got some company.
Being anonymous is a great thing, we should all try it.
I am no intellect, have never been one, so don't worry Ryan. You've got to fade QUITE a bit my friend; if that made any sense.

Oy vey.

My favorite book of all time is Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keys. I read it when I was 14, then I read it again, then I read it again.

And, yo, would someone please tell me how to get my hands on Mr. Nice? Christ... I've been to every store on the Net and can't find it. When Sloth said it can't be found in the U.S. he wasn't kidding.

if you go to Howard's home page you can get a signed copy in Hebrew.
http://www.mrnice.co.uk/swag.htm

also fans of Howard should also seek out the band Super Furry Animals. The most underrated band on the planet. Their new album is entirely in Welsh so I suggest Something 4 the Weekend for new devotees. The cover has Howard on it. Also a song called hangin' with Howard Marks.

And if you are looking for a read seek out James Hawes. His books are White Merc with Fins, Rancid Aluminium, and Dead Long Enough.

So anyway that's enough to keep you up with the Cardiff cool.

Mc, actually Queen's English means this:

Queen's English (kwnz ngglsh)
n.
English speech or usage that is considered standard or accepted; Received Standard English.

Myx, here is the difference between British English and English...

British English (brtsh ngglsh)
n.
The English language used in Great Britain as distinguished from that used elsewhere.

Main Entry: 1En·glish
Pronunciation: 'i[ng]-glish, 'i[ng]-lish
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English englisc, from Engle (plural) Angles
Date: before 12th century
: of, relating to, or characteristic of England, the English people, or the English language
- En·glish·ness noun

The book is for sale, first come, first served.
