TIFFANY LAMP
c.Ê1880's
Louis Comfort (1848-1933)

ÊThe famous Tiffany lamp is made of colored glass and bronze. In this example where the design imitates nature, the lamp sprouts from a patch of foliage at the base, grows through the slender bronze stem and blossoms into hanging flowers on the glass shade.

And here is where art imitates life, energy begins(sprouts) at the base(of one universal conciuosness), flowing through slender bandwidths(particle/wave theory of light),collecting and blossoming as the patterns of thoughts in your mind(the energy collector/refractor). The lamp is beautiful because it is a static representation of the flow of universal harmonious vibration that we subconciuosly receive. We realize them as patterns or cycles in this concious reality, forever in motion, Art nouveau is the representation of that flow, art, science, & music all strive to explain the same thing through different mediums of the bandwidths of energy, that is why music f**** you up so much whilst raving, it is much closer to the heart of what it is all about, pure harmonious vibration,a tuned & modulated frequency- the frequency of all of life. way to much for me to go into through this medium. this has barely begun to skim the surface, it goes into and is a part of everything in existence, and how it exists together. My apologies for going off on this mini-novel here!, but, thank you for presenting the me with place to do so!
