i've got a marketing idea for your next book.

want to hear it, here it go:

i talked to this girl who works in the same school system as i do earlier this year.

she has about three books out right now. they are selling well to moderately and she has a little fan base. it's all through self-publishing.

i'll tell you her trick and you can use it in new york . . . maybe or wherever you're from.

she researches the localities where she sets the stories and then sells them in tourist shops in those areas. it's working really well for her.

just thought you might want a tip.

good luck.

de nada

ask tommy if he knows a female author named janice from scotland.

:)

she's pretty famous.

she's friends with my mom's best friend.

writing is not glamorous.

It's Janice Galloway, by the way:

do you remember the poem i wrote about the lady with the gnomes and stuff in her house. well she's the friend of janice's -- i met janice when i was a little kid.

i don't really remember her that well, but i mean. you know she was my mom's friend friend.

i wanted to be more like my mom's friend -- an English teacher.

. . . and as an english teacher it is my duty to inform you that there is a place on the website that i linked for budding authors where you are free and welcome to plug your new self published book.

i think it's neat.
