So, about 2 weeks from now, or a little bit less, Marky will be the last remaining paxacidian in Seattle. Well, I guess that isn't really true, I think Rosie is still in Seattle, and h. also, but they don't come around these parts much anymore.
The point is,Tracy and I will be moving to New York, Brooklyn to be specific, and it's a little scary. I now understand why before McCutcheon moved, he went on a bender of epic proportions.
Mark, make sure Seattle stays beautiful, we'll be back. McCutcheon, get ready to kick my ass regularly at tennis, and let's start Sports Day East, complete with the after-sport pub crawl-many rounds on me. Burnt face Jake, I hope to get the chance to meet you (and maybe do that film Mc was talking about?) And Tom, if you're still around let's hang out. Tommy, how far is Cincinnati from NYC? Too far away for you to hop over to join us on the pub crawl, but closer than Seattle, so maybe I'll see you sometime. Mmenabi, make sure to let me know if any of your art is showing around town...and I like your "I (ass) NY" shirt idea.
Everyone else, it seems NYC is turning into the Pax place to be...McCutcheon, Mmenabi, Burnt, and now me. And if the Sloth visits the US, I'm sure he and Linda will fly into a NY area airport. A layover is just enough time for a few drinks. So come visit. We'll pack the 12" bar, or wherever Mc is djing, and enjoy life.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go figure out how we're going to make all this happen in less than 2 weeks. I mean my move...not all the stuff I said earlier about getting together with people. That doesn't have to happen in less than 2 weeks...but moving does. Gotta focus.
Marky, the last one standing
I hoped you'd see it Tom. Tracy and I are leaving MONDAY! August 1. We are driving, and our stuff is following in a moving truck, so we'll probably be in a nice empty apartment for a few days. We anticipate being there around the 5th or 6th, and thanks for the help moving in offer, but we have some movers to do most of it. You'll have to come over and check it out. I don't have your number. If you want to email it to me send it to rfontaine71@hotmail.com. See you when we're there! This message is strangely simplistically weird, but I think I got all the detail in there. Can you tell life has been busy?
