so... is anyone gonna read it? Any opinions already about it? I haven't been paying much attention to the reviews, I've been too drunk having been disappointed by not making the dance company and wondering what the hell I'm supposed to do for a job.
I was considering reading it... all of my books are in storage in the middle-of-nowhere missouri and I just finished reading the collected writings of Zelda Fitzgerald... sooo... um ... any ideas of if it's worth it? If not, anyone got any suggestions?

the nytimes had two completely contradictory reviews: one strict and tired-sounding trashing by this chick whos name i have forgotten, and one pleasant and well-written review by larry mcmurtry.
i was afraid, by warning of the chick's review, that it would be a boring laundry list of policy initiatives but up till now, (page 120), i can say it is a good read. not exactly nabokov stylistically but what the hell, the guy's a politician. he tries too hard to be uplifting but beneath the surface there is a lot of well-understood psychology, and history being told. as mcmurty says, it sure beats anything reagan, hw bush or carter wrote.
if you like clinton, or think the hillary 2008 or 2012 campaign has legs (and can manage to digest close to a thousand pages), i recommend it. and if you don't like clinton or don't believe in the clinton's ongoing political project... well then why would you want to read his autobio anyway?
