Mav wrote a story

Post by Maverick »

HEy, I wrote a short story and submitted it through that PA interactive thing, but I'm not sure if it worked. Should I have posted it here first for votes and debate like Kitten's poem?

I don't know, but I like the concept of the interactive thing-except for the rule that you have to have an image to submit something. It took me forever to find a picture to use, and I'm still not sure if I have permission to use it.

Anyway, I hope the story got through, and let me know what you thing. It's called Crazy Man, and it's pretty short.

Mark-to respond to something you posted under another thread about a TV show with a secret agent named Tommy Guest-It's funny that you said that because I will be playing a James Bond-spoof character named Drake Steele in a Murder Mystery play called "The Man With the Golden Bean". I just read the first act, and it's pretty funny.

Hey, sloth, If you do post the story, I found out that the photographer gives his permission as long as there is a photo credit. His name is "Mashuga", so I guess if it's posted we should put photo by Mashuga or something.

That's kind of funny, because doesn't Mashuga mean crazy in Yiddish?

A story without a picture is like a day without moonshine. Oops I meant sunshine.

I'm so glad you mentioned this, Mav, I really felt the same way. I wrote a guy for permission once and realized he wasn't even the right person to ask and it just seemed like more trouble than it was worth.

Good for you with the James Bond-ish character.

If the picture doesn't contain a credit how are you supposed to write for permission?

The point is, don't steal any obviously copywritten images. Like from someone who would care. Google Images is the place I get most of the pictures for the site. Just type in anything and you get 1000 pictures of it. Even pornographic things if you turn the filters off.

Pictures are pretty important overall. I think they give shape to the pages and also make them more enticing.

I grudgingly admit that pictures do spice up the writings...and I like looking at them, just niot finding them. I take it back, I was just frustrated when I posted that. I got permission from the guy now, and he just wants a photo credit and for me to send him a link to it if i goes up.
