Pocketful of Sloth Banned

My first collection of short stories, called Pocketful of Sloth, will not be published soon. Since no one ever offered to publish it and I don't have the stomach or dollars to send it out and get rejection letter, I decided to self publish at www.1stbooks.com.

I paid $800 over four months and just before I was to receive my proof I was phoned and told the group sex scenes in Rex Club is the Sex Club were over the top.

I CANT EVEN GET MY BOOK PUBLISHED WHEN I PAY FOR IT!!

The sales rep assured me it was nothing personal and that everyone there loved it but the decision was made at the higher up level, where everyone are conservative Christians.

At first I was honored to write a serious piece of literature that was banned for content but now I am back to square one.

They did, at least, mention a few other similar programs which would publish my work... some even being a bit cheaper. This will no doubt delay the process because I will spend the $800 I am getting back on alcohol, teenage prostitutes, and cocaine.

How dare they shut down the Sloth! You wouldn't want those right wing people publishing your stories anyway. I am surprised that they actually read them...I would have thought they'd just take the money and publish whatever, even if it went like this.

bullshit!

i hate this country. let me take that back. i hate to think where we are going.

in todays society, you cannot afford to be offended. shit like this just pisses me off. it takes alot to get me pissed off, but fucking hell, who the hell do they think they are?!!? im going to stop now before i get mad. its been a shitty day anyways.
