I like cashews. They are the crazy nut in the nut family. Does anybody else wish those guys would stop picking on that dude that plays his guitar and sings about Juicy Fruit? I think it's a rather catchy tune.

Rosie ... just because I point out your melodrama is no reason to assume I find war as popcorn as Melrose Place. Someone having a differing opinion than you doesn't make them a beast nor less "evolved" than yourself. I guarantee I'm more educated on the goings on in many corners of the planet than most and have seen more suffering in my own backyard than I'd care to. And by the way ... your stereotypical slants toward the region of the country in which I live in shows the hypocrisy of the left wing slant from which you come. You can accuse others of being barbarous all you want but you and yours are just as narrowminded as Pat Robertson and Bill O'Reilley ever were. You just flaunt your hypocrisy from a different angle.

And Mr. Balsamicidiosa ... once again, showing your ignorance with juvenile name calling. BTW ... honkey is a slang reference to caucasians and you're just as blond haired and fair skinned as I am. Your narrow mind and condecending attitude is akin to Rush Limbaugh. For a moderate such as myself, your self rightous attitude is just as appalling as his.

And one more thing ... as for your statement "bore us all to tears". Don't assume because you think I'm worth dismissing that you can speak for the whole community here. I started staying around here because I found most to be enlightening regardless of differing opinions. You, however, are one who prefers to kiss ass and only get along with those who concur with your every opinion. Sorry I don't play that way. Doesn't mean that Maverick and Brett and Mc etc. all hate me. If they do and they want me to leave. Fine. Let 'em say so and I'll go and admit I was wrong about the open air attitude of this community. If not, you can simply kiss my lily white southern ass.

I am quite relaxed. For now. It's raining outside and cool. I'd say it's a perfect time for a nap but it's way to late for that.

I found out the other day that there is a word for those songs or jingles that you here and then can't get out of your head for the rest of the day: earworm. I kid you not.

I just realized I know the entire them to the Brady Bunch.

xquisd, your post about bush, dick and colon had me cracking up hard

ditto Brett's glorious gum commercials from way way back when. Good God do they still use those? I don't watch T.V. anymore enough to know, but Brett you've gotta get some kind of award for quoting those. Bless you.

H. there was some great writing there in your first post as well. Cheers.

Myke, I can't figure out how your ego works. You say something you know people will argue with or disagree with, then when people do, it somehow makes you feel special to be disagreed with, and you kindof brag for a bit. I can't figure it out.

martino don't tell me what bores you, i have been on this site for a year now, but i hear you loud and clear.
my grandmother used to hide juicy fruit in the secret drawer and give it to me when i was good, maybe that explains what happened to me.
the song was a hook too. fuck now i can't get it out of my mind.

Rosie:

So kiss a little longer
hold hands a little longer
hold tight a little longer
longer with Big Red

That Big Red freshness lasts right through it
your fresh breath goes on and on
while you chew it
say good bye a little longer
make love a little longer
give your breath long lasting freshness with Big Red!!!!

I'm a mass marketers wet dream.

man, i don‘t even read the stuff gomer writes nowadays. i have no time for that kind of southern-fried pomposity. if anyone sees something i should really respond to, i‘d be more than obliged if she or he told me so. thanks!

on with the jingles!

Mark ... man, I can't figure out how my own ego works.

Just for the record, I don't mind being disagreed with at all. Also ... please note, man that I never put my opinions forth with personal attacks. I did say some posts were 'whining' and 'melodramatic' but that is mild and I never attacked the poster. However, Mr. Martino started with calling me a 'cold motherfucker' and has added 'honkey' and 'gomer' of late. And let's not forget the constant slants toward where I live. I haven't made any Germanic racial remarks or anything like that. There is a difference here between debating against someone's views and calling them names.

Mentos ... the freshmaker ...

oh what a relief it is
do you feel better.
i think you could be more creative besides using "melodramatic".
why do you care what people on this site say. half of them despise me including you, but do i care?
i still think we should have gotten rid of texas, maybe not sc. and another thing why do you always sign your name after your posts?

Ok. I feel better now. Especially after laying out of work today. I needed a break.

Hey, Rosie ... melodramatic wasn't meant to be creative ... just simple and to the point. Believe it or not, I don't go out of my way to be devisive. And I don't despise you. Why would I? I don't even know you. I may disagree with you at time but I don't pick at you personally.

You're probably less despised than me. Of course, I really don't know specifically of more than one who actually hates me. And trust me, I don't care about that.

I don't know why I sign my name after a post. Habit I guess. I visit this music board on occasion where some friends of mine on the west coast hang out and I think it's a habit from there.
