I've found myself very very bored with a lot of music since I got back from California. I don't know why. The whole thing just kindof upset my routine or something.
So here's a long rant about the few things I HAVE managed to get interested in:
the first Kajagoogoo album (of "Too Shy" fame) which I haven't heard since I was like 12 years old. I am trying to get a hold of their earlier stuff when they were called Art Nouveau but I don't know if Limahl was in most of that stuff or not. I think Limahl has a great voice. So sue me.
I'm listening to Killing Joke right now but that probably isn't any of your business.
Did I mention those two Who songs?
I need help. These damn London post punk compilations keep staring at me, making me feel guilty that despite having bought them over a month ago, I've barely played them at all. I hate that. I also have an Australian post punk compilation I need to get to before I die, someday. But I'll probably hear that one before the London one because I just hate fucking having to listen to an entire post punk compilation where there's only fucking 2 good bands or whatever. I fucking hate doing that. And I refuse. Not this weekend. I'll do it on a weeknight. Fuck it.
I want my Killing Joke dance remix 12" goth dance music. And I can only be so drunk at one time.

Also a surefire thing is World Domination Enterprises. They never fail to satisfy. Never. The beat the crap out of most other UK indie bands circa the mid to late 80's, and I know a Seattle based music journalist who agrees. They even dabbled in hip hop. Crazy.
If you're looking for a song by them to try "Asbestos Lead Asbestos" is as good a place to start as any. But don't say I didn't warn you that you will then want to own every single piece of music they did.
