I've been coming across some pretty cool music blogs of late. This one has a buttload of Peel Sessions on it, including one that Sonic Youth did in the 80's where they only covered Fall songs. Most of the rest is of '86-'87 "C86" bands. Give Stump a try if you want to hear some weird and/or funny music:

Here's another one that is more post punk/new wave, although he too has been gravitating towards the C86 era (Three Johns, Bogshed...not sure why this kind of stuff is getting so much attention nowadays, but I might have to dip in myself...in fact I just pulled out a C86 band this weekend!)
