Well the keyboard is what seperates happy hardcore from hardcore; and it's ok; I was getting *very* grumpy with the e-mailing and etc. But actually now looking back I think it's just cause I was ill, but didn't notice til I puked. Yay - stuff grows in raver goo. I'll send you some dark core tracks tonight and some more that are similar to the DJ FBI tracks.

On the male vocals note - they MAY actually be by a mail, hardcore is usually turned up so fast, especially the old tracks, it's not tha thtey're recorded that way. I'll send you one of my favourite tracks to turn hardcore with vinyl.

I found an album that's called Punk Rock Christmas and has The Damned, The Ravers, Ramones, The Celibate Rifles
it's on amazon but the song I'm looking for I heard on the local station (and I could call but I don't remember when and what day so have no clue when) something like all I want for christmas is a big cock?

Here's some more fun punk christmas songs...

First one is by the Ramones, then the next one is Fishbone. They are both fantastic.

Are you meaning that Pogues christmas song with Kirsty MacColl in? Fairytale of New York?

I thought it terribly lovely that the local paper, The Stranger, in their gig guide only said one thing for Dec. 25th - they quoted her in that song - "You scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy faggot, merry christmas my ass, I pray god it's our last"

Some gay activists may chafe at that line, but in the context of the song, it's so funny and charming. God bless Kirsty I love her so much. I want to get her box set in fact. I've wanted her box set for a long time now (*weeps)

A Hello Kitty waffle maker, wow. I love waffles!!!

Box sets are so expensive!!! The Fall Peel Session box was fucking $60 or $70 at the store! I swallowed hard. That's my problem with box sets. But I did get a raise, so maybe I'll go hog wild soon and get that and the Kirsty box set.

Imagine if Santa came to my house and with those box sets tomorrow morning. In my stocking. Wow. What a dream.

Anyway I got those tracks you sent, Pixie. I'm going to play them in a minute.

marky... I have to go to Denny's. Like right now. I'm bored and dammnit... I got my mom some chocolate lava cake things for Xmas and they're in my freezer and I have the worst chocolate craving *ever* right now. Seriously... I'm drunk and the only thing that will make me happy is a choclate fudge brownie.

and I wonder why my ass is so fat... but... seriously... if Denny's is closed I'm going to die. Or my mom won't have a present tomorrow.

I think by now you know I have a terrible sentimental attachment to Denny's. Please go, godspeed, etc. to Denny's. In fact, please take a tape recorder and record the conversation. Please. And have a lot of coffee and pancakes and all that good stuff.
