You see there's so much music on my computer that I've never gotten around to trying to listen to. Tonight I've gotten a lot of work done cleaning house and finally going through it. This is how I found Simply Red which had been sitting there for quite awhile. I've decided I'll never be a huge fan of either Buzzcocks or Elvis Costello, or Grace Jones. The verdict on Afrika Bambaataa was not as positive as I would have imagined, either.

But there was this band of British teenagers called the Prats from the late 70's if I recall correctly. Charmingly amateurish post-punk. And they have sat on my computer for a very long time. Now I know I must buy their CD as soon as I can.

Peel was quite enthusiastic about them as well, which is easy to understand, they're quite Fallish at times. Kindof gloomy sometimes, too.

They had a song called "Jesus Had A P.A."

what more could you ask for?
