Velvet Underground - Sister Ray

A rather big thread about this song on the other board has left me inspired. This is the song I hated most by the otherwise godly Velvet Underground with Lou Reed. But even as much I hate the version on White Light White Heat, I hate Joy Division's live version even MORE. Total wankery. Their worst song, probably.
But a Brit guy I know who's a bit older than me recommended the two versions that appear on VU's live
double CD "The Quine Tapes" and wow. I've been to the planet of Spacemen 3 and back. And if you think that's good try the version on the second CD in this Quine Tapes set. That one gets real interesting and funky at about 11 minutes 30 seconds...and I'd argue it's at about 11 minutes when the version on the first CD gets truly interesting as well. When you've passed the 11 minute mark with Sister Ray, you know you're there to stay. IF you're lukcy to have the Quine versions.
