Yeah, I will, been planning to, really but very busy this week. Most intense week for me since I graduated. I found a job but I've got a lead on another one, so I don't care which job I end up with either way I will be happy, and I'm so glad this job searching hell is over. Jesus, Kate Bush loves us all. Really. Must worship the Kate KATE sorry, never mind...what was I going to say? I went record shopping with my friend today but didn't find but one thing I was looking for boo hoo. Not even the first Simply Red album which I know you will all laugh at me for trying to find. I've never heard the whole thing before. I have no idea whether it's good or not, really. But I want to hear it anyway. I've heard 3 songs off it. But it's probably crap. I'm not hopeful.

Also curious about some 60's British folky thing called Vashti Bunyan. Had the same guy on two tracks that worked with Nick Drake, orchestrated Nick Drake songs, you know what I mean, the strings on certain Nick Drake songs.

ANYWAY I FOUND OUT THAT FUCKING BILLY BRAGG IS PLAYING HERE SOLO ELECTRIC WHICH IS THE ONLY WAY I WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH BILLY BRAGG IS IF HE IS SOLO ELECTRIC I MAY HAVE A MUSICAL ORGASM, ETC. OH MY GOD. I can't believe he's doing a solo electric show here I feel so freakin' lucky. Fuck all his country/folk Wilco crap. Let's get BACK TO BASICS, BILLY!!!

Yeah anyway so, I just have to get the bloody jewel cases, you see, McC. And I actually do have enough money left to get them. And nothing much planned for Sunday, tomorrow, I mean today...except sobering up later and maybe going and getting those damn jewel cases I want so bad so I can send you the CD's and just for my own purposes, I hate these fucking jewel cases I have that are tinted dark red and dark blue you can't see through them and can't see the color you chose for your CD sleeve when you printed it out.

Okay so anyway...I did buy one CD today...

There's a guy who calls himself Eluvium. I think he moved from Portland to Seattle or still lives in Portland I'm not sure. But he does some amazing things when he plays solo piano. And also he does some other kind of music like My Bloody Valentine with no vocals and very spacey, etc. Anyway I bought his new EP "When I Live By The Garden And the Sea"

Oh also The Who is fucking playing Seattle and I'll probably be disappointed but if I die without seeing Pete Townshend play in some capacity, it will be a life wasted.

The Ian Curtis book is very fun.

To see Billy Bragg at the same time that Bush is president will be one of the most amazing gigs I've ever witnessed for sure.

Also I hate to say it but Bob Dylan is playing here. I worry I should go. I'm afraid, I'm afraid that I will die without quite understanding what role he plays in my musical life. Certainly I would rather listen to Velvet Underground than Dylan, but there's some crazy force drawing me to him now that I find scary, really. I actually can't take ALL of Blonde on Blonde, I'm afraid, I get bored when it gets too stereotypically bluesy, but it starts out totally amazing for the

McC, you'll be happy to know I bought jewel cases and a shipping envelope to send the CD's in. I think I'm going to send it certified mail so I can be sure you got it and it didn't get stolen or lost. I am worried in a way that this will inconvenience you, (maybe you will have to go to the post office??) but dude I just can't stand this vision I have in my mind, of a post office worker delivering it and leaving it outside your door and it being stolen or getting lost. Let's not go there okay?
