You guys, this is so embarassing. I'm touched, really. I guess I should have got going on a blog, maybe. I did have a blog once but it didn't last very long because of school. In any case, I hope more people post on PA. I know my rants can get boring to some folks, but I don't think it's my fault that people don't post more, and for awhile even you guys weren't posting, so...

Here's hoping there are better days ahead for PA. It's hard to understand Martino's attitude to the whole thing. I don't come here because I *expect* people to entertain me or make me laugh (although it's nice if they do), I come here because I like the vibe of the site and the people who come here. So I can't figure out why I would leave the site unless I was dead or working hellish overtime or had suddenly decided I didn't like the people anymore. I just don't understand his whole way of looking at it at all. Anyway, that's in the past now, I guess.

Thanks for the forum!

Keep up the good work!

And you might want to Move your previous threads (only the relevant ones of course) to this new forum to keep them altogether.

Yeah I'd planned to do that, will try in a sec here. I trust it's not too complicated.

I'd actually like to hear more about Tapes n Tapes, Sloth, I saw you mentioned their name in the email exchange with McC that led to all this. I'd heard their name tossed about, and I liked it quit a bit as a band name, then I read a real good review in the Stranger of them that only piqued my interest. Hadn't got round to it, it's nice to be reminded of new bands now and then so I have a chance of properly investigating these things instead of having my head up the arse of 1979 all the time. I need help sometimes. Like Maximo Park, I didn't think they were too bad, actually but I never followed up on it, and I'm ashamed.

Another new thing this year that keeps getting talked about on the other board ad nauseum is Final Fantasy "He Poos Clouds". I'm just so sick of hearing about it now that I really want to know what it sounds like once and for all. First it was just people saying how stupid the album title was, then all these people came along who were raving about it. Whatever.

Sloth, I know I'm going to sound like just another
complaining McC here, but guess what, I can't move
jack shit from the other thing to this forum. By that
I mean from Sex Drugs & Rock and Roll, I can't move
any of the threads over because when I check them
(even if I only check one - I tried it both ways) and
try to push the "move" button at the bottom or the "unlock" or even "lock" button, all I get is the same message:

"General Error
Invalid_session"

The computer hurts my feelings.
And I didn't try the delete button by the way, because I didn't know for sure that I DID want to delete anything. You'll have to forgive me that.

Anyway it was your idea to move stuff over, and it was a good one, I admit. It's the computer that let me down, not you.
