Can we get a piano player in here? Man I'm serious. I'm a sucker for piano players, please, man, we've got to have a piano player in with someone else to sing the Constitution.

Look I all seriously love all you now the important thing is to put on a nice piece of music that you like. I don't care if it's something I don't like. Just put it on. And chill.

Because Jesus does NOT drive an S.U.V. I can guarantee that alone.

There's a relatively new band from New York called the Liars. Their second and latest new album is actually quite nice. "Drum's Not Dead" it's called. I think they outdid Radiohead, really. The next step up from where Radiohead left off. Spiritualized might be jealous, but who knows? Another thing about them is they remind my friend in Scotland of a Factory band that him and I both like that most people likely wouldn't cause the singer couldn't sing. They were called Section 25. Brilliant, but you have to get used to it. Still there were some real high moments in their spotty career. Their second album reminded me a lot of Can, it was called "The Key Of Dreams" and when it first came out 20 years ago I hated it, but I love it now. Isn't that strange?

Also...

But that's not important.

Anyway I'm going to quit posting now for awhile.

Pixie I'll make my way over to you soon.

You see I want us all to sing the Constitution to the tune of one of those ridiculous Mony Python tunes like Life of Brian or the one about Robin in the forest. Oh my god. Yeah, sing it like that. HNAHAHAHHAH

And then that new Liars album gets all techno and atmospherically weird in a techno trance way...and then...well...they sure do sound a lot like Section 25 and Can sometimes.

End of story.

BUT

Newcomers to the Factory Records experience should definitely bypass all other Section 25 songs besides "Looking From A Hilltop". Every novice who doesn't know them should start with that song, I think. And if that doesn't help you then take my favourite song of them...(struggles to remember the name..fuck) the 12"...oh yeah..."Crazy Wisdom" that is it. Yeah if you are a novice with them that is the other song I would try of Section 25 who were on Factory Records, remember. Yeah. And if that doesn't do it for you, well...we'll have to talk about it later.

I've decided I'm going to purchase 24 Hour Party People on DVD if it's the last thing I do and especially if I find out the damn British version has more or better extras the the stupid U.S. version with the vastly ruined sleeve. The story of my life.

Whatever.

Hey Tommy, I got your message.

Hey look, even Bruce Springsteen makes a cameo appearance with a spoken word part in the middle of Lou Reed's "Street Hassle" song. And I'd be the first to say that anything even remotely associated with Springsteen would normally make me cringe, but Lou can do anything. Only Lou could pull off a song like "Street Hassle".
