See what you've done Mav? The fucking Mickey Mouse TV show from the 50's or 60's or whenever the fuck..I can't stop laughing and it's all your fault oh my god. I'm going to try to find some pictures as soon as I can compose myself.

I think I had that album before I even knew about the Osmonds. This is so embarassing.

Pixie, I can't STAND the thought of 10 page papers. I would rather write math equations for 40 hours straight than write a 10 page paper.

Markey, I call bollocks on that.

If McCutcheon can write 2 novels and a book of short stories than Pixie can damn well write a 10 page paper.

I am constantly amazed by Mark's brain. How Blade Runner could lead him to obsessing about young Annette Funicello is so wickedly genius that I feel unworthy to be in his presence.

I'm reading this book now called "Motherless Brooklyn" about a small-time mafia guy with Tourettes syndrome. It's cool how he tries to figure out who killed his beloved boss, then shouts "eatmebailey"and "fuckmefuckitassrag" while interrogating a suspect or talking to the mob bosses.

HOw that relates to Marky and his leaps of obsession, I have no idea. I think I'm catching it.

I certanly can write a ten page paper: I should just be more careful in my choosing of topics or avoid using goggle. After I finished the paper the first time ... I did some goggling to see if there were anything exceptional I should note or whatever...

and found a paper pretty much exactly the one I had just written.

Then my brain melted and I cried and started over.

Furthermore. I don't think I can enjoy Flannery O'Connor ever again.

My paper for next week on Bright Lights, Big City, and TAZ should prove more interesting I hope.

Pixie you said: "I should just be more careful in my choosing of topics or avoid using goggle."

This is great, it reminds me of a really really fabulous song by that fabulous band called The Suburbs from Minneapolis in the early 80's. He says "I've got my goggles on and it's so bright" and he's singing about how he took these pills. It's fabulous. The CD/LP is called "In Combo" by the Suburbs. But what is the name of that song? Fuck, I'll have to find it.

Well basically what I was trying to say, but which got lost in my drunkenness (did I mention it's now 4 am and I'm drinking my favourite wine in the whole world? lucky me)

was that if Pixie can stand to write a 10 page paper, and actually pull it off rather than drinking wine the whole time, god I salute her. That's what I wanted to say. I mean sway.

I'm playing the first Cocteau Twins album and GOD I love this fucking GOTH shit. I don't care if they call me a goth, burn me at the stake for being a goth. Even though I don't exactly always wear black. Don't you understand that everyone has to turn into a bat at midnight and become a goth sometimes?

Did I mention I bought an LP of fucking Disney Halloween noises!? I used to have this record as a kid, it's called "Chilling, Thrilling Sounds Of The Haunted House". hahahhaa I tried playing it earlier tonight but it was so funny I couldn't stand it and had to take it off, there's like these people doing these agonizing moans for extended periods it is fucking hilarious.[/i]

Also there's a round sticker on it that says "Added Bonus Inside...SPOOKY PARTY HINTS" hahahahahahahahhaah\

And on one of the gravestones in the drawn picture it says hahahahhahaha a "Here Lies A Most Terrific Collection of Recorded Sounds" hahahahahahhaahah

Anyway here's a shoutout to Mav (McC play him a Sting, I mean Police track - I vote for Regatta De Blanc the title track delicious reggae post punk!)

Thank god I've put on my Dome CD which is two members of Wire doing very very very weird music.

Also re: Flannery O'Connor we had to read her in my last English class which was excruciating. I thought she was okay, but I wasn't completely crazy about her compared to some other writers.

Someone mentioned Ethan Frome recently...that book by...what was her name damnit? Too drunk to remember. Wait, I'll think of it in a minute. The music is distracting me. Edith Wharton? Oh god that's probably wrong. What the hell was her name? Damn if I can remember. Anyway someone was saying how boring that fucking book was and I remember it that way, too when we had to read it in high school, it took SO LONG for the PLOT to get MOVING, but in the end I was glad I read it.

People have compared the new Kate Bush to Virginia Woolf. Mainly this happens because the single talks about Elvis and you're just like "what the fuck is she going on about here?" Completely crazy lyrics.

Look I don't even like Frank Zappa. Even if I heard him on the radio the other day, which I did.

Which actually means that I DO like Frank Zappa but only once in a blue moon, like once every hundred years I like Frank Zappa.

I remember one day in Paris when McCutcheon sold his Frank Zappa disc collection for drug money and then bought them all again with a girlfriend's father's credit card.

You gotta admire the McLoveMuffin.

... see more proof for me to give my roommate that men are pigs and we should date girls! (okay, so I do no exactly agree with this sentiment however - she shoudl really think men are pigs... and I suspect even if she wants to date girls she won't want to date me so eh!)

Heh ... I looove the Cocteau Twins. Cocteau Twins, The Cure, Bauhaus, Dead Can Dance, Switchblade Symphony, Skinny Puppy, souixise and the banshees, and joy divison are the soundtrack for highschool.
I was such a precious little goth girl!

I do like Flannery O'Connor. I am a sucker for gore sometimes. I really love the story "The Lame Shall Enter First". The only thing I dislike about her work really is the religion smacked in your face. But then agian ... that's part of the gore so ...
But I definately won't be reading any of her work for awhile!!

Tragic,

This is like the fourth or fifth time you mentioned wanting to date girls. Why not move out of the midwest and do it? You might like it, and at least you would get it out of your system.

Also, if a girl sold her CD's to buy a new handbag and then made her boyfriend buy them for her again I don't think anyone would call her a pig.

My brother once sold all his guitars to buy drugs and then had my dad buy him new ones. Now he is a respsonsible father of three. We are all human.
