New Look for Summer

Well re-doing PAI (Pax Acidus Interactive) is taking me a lot longer than I originally thought so in order to cure the staleness of the "non-bb of bb" part of the site in general over the past couple of years, I implemented some of the cosmetic and functionality features I have been working on over the past few months...
1. New Front Page - Now it displays the last 9 PAI pages from any category... I think it adds color and excitement to the front page plus its a fast way to check if you've missed anything lately.
2. Print this Page and Recommend this Page functions... pretty self-explanatory... now you can send a favorite story to a friend or get a printer friendly copy to read offline. This is now available on all the PAI content, but not yet on some novels, screenplays, and other 'static' pages.
3. Color matching. Linda was complaining the site's css style sheet wasn't color matched with the fine graphics that John Black donated to us (almost 4 years ago). I think the overall style has withstood the test of time... But if anyone wants to design another theme I can implement it and then people can choose which one they want (for instance a white/ yellow theme would be nice for summer time).
4. Previews Page - see what the new submissions look like before they are accepted. Available off the front page.
4. Author Page - browse the Author pages of all the published authors of PAI. Available off the front page.
Feedback, comments, and new ideas are welcome as always... I know I haven't been posting much but I have beem reading and if you want to keep up with what's going on in my life check out

Cheers and lots summer love,

fucking take a look at it. let's say you are going to the site for the first time and that front page pops up? It looks like complete and utter shit. this is why the site sucks now. because we used to work on it together-- you working and me doing cocaine and drinking wine-- I was your Bez. I let you know what worked and didn't.
doesn't mean I don't love you though.
but come on man. open your eyes.

get rid of all that shit on the left box. and half those people don't have anything to do with Pax Acidus. I never even met them or read what is up there. At the end of the day what isn't the bb of bb is you and me. pAX aCIDS = sLOTH & mCcUTCHEON

Yeah she does. She do me. Don't let me down.

We're still at the top of the front page and that's all that matters. Anyone who digs into the site will realize that 90% of the content is ours.
That left table consists of the last 9 submissions to Pax Acidus. The idea is that the 9 last submissions are on the front page so people can see what is new.
If you don't want to have other people on the site then fine... we can go that route... and the site can stop where it is except for a couple new pieces of content per year... but if you have other people on the site besides us then we have to promote them and then they will tell their friends and more quality writers will submit more quality stuff and more people will visit the site.
What do other people think? I think change is good sometimes... even if Mc needs to drink to kill the pain.
I've been sober three days. I got a stomach virus. Oops gotta run to the john...
ouch

Don't give secrets away.
Yes I drink to kill the pain. But don't forget I'm the artist and you are the geek.
And before the peanut gallery gets all uppity and thinks I'm the biggest pretentious wanker (which admittedly I can be when typing but not so much in person) I only mean this when it comes to Pax Acidus. We had a vision. I think someone said art is made when you don't care when anyone sees it. I'm not sure about that. But back in 1997 it was just the Sloth and McCutcheon and a pile of drugs and a (dream)? Then Sloth explained to me what the Internet was.

I like the front page, i can submit a new pic for my story, if the picture of the cat pisses mccutcheon off, he hates pets, seeing the new front page made me want to submit more stuff, but if it's going to be a slother and mc club, then i guess that's what it is going to be...BUT the more writers you get involved, the more popular the site will get which means more people will read sloth and mc stuff which is better for the both of you.
mc, you have the most to gain from getting more people involved in the site. create some buzz that pax is a place where talented writers write... it's seems obvious to me. nobody's making you read the other stories. What are you up to tonight anyways. i just at some fresh cantalope and almost orgasmed. I'm thinking of just walking around all night, buying frest cut fruit, and eating it...watermelon, honey dew. HONEY FUCKING DEW!!! GOD I NEED MORE FRUIT.
OH BOY

I just checked out the preview page, Ms. Carol Hilker's stories are up there. She submitted them when she was living with me...like five months ago. That's her in the Two Wrongs pic... we don't live together anymore...

actually, she's in the pics of all her stories, or at least parts of her body, butt, tits, that sort of thing.

Okay. We are back to the old argument about you being the artist and me being the geek. Well we know for sure that I'm the geek. As for the rest we can let history decide.

Burnt, Carol looks like an elementary school teacher, except she can't format her text very well.
But no really, that's exactly the type of thing that's cool with intertactive content. It brings the interactivity of the bb of bb to the rest of the site. I don't think Mc gets it yet but maybe in time... he will learn to heed the wise words of master yoda...
"Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealously. The shadow of greed, that is."
