haha ... I am sorry cheap wine is bad for you but there are some really good local wines that are like $7 here. Sure they're not wine for wine lovers - but they'll do in a pinch! You might like them - they're sweet dessert (are there one or two s's or am I really off on spelling...) wines St James: Red (or White) Velvet.
But St. James does make better more expensive wines. I'm not sure how wide their distribution area is though. Likewise I occassionally can deal with cheap white wines - but not reds.
I'm sick because I didn't wear a coat to Chicago (yeah yeah, I'm stupid) ... and then when we got back I went to bed with wet hair. So now my throat is killing me. Urgh!

I'm surprised to hear of local wines in your area of the country. I've certainly never heard of any, and I don't mean that to be offensive. Hell, maybe you are winding me up and that would make me laugh.
No sore throats though. They're not allowed. The punk rock can heal your body and mind, Pixie. You must believe in the punk rock. The punk rock can clean your mind and body of all toxins and fill your soul with white light.
White heat.
Oh god Marky's doing Velvet Underground puns now, how awful.
Did you know that one of Johnny Lydon (Rotten)'s favourite albums is Can's "Tago Mago"?
Better still, do you care? Of course NOT. It's just Marky rambling down the bloody pub again. And you can he'll buy you a few rounds.

http://www.stjameswinery.com/ St James - makes some of my favourite cheap wines
http://www.missouriwine.org/
Other local wines. Actually Missouri produces a lot of wine - and beer - Budwiser is based in St. Louis. The area is good for distilling: St. Louis because underneath the city is a huge network of caves just the prefect conditions
and the MO climate is good for grapes
and Strawberries.

I really have begun to feel that God hates me for not having a cell phone. This makes me very sad because I really don't want a cell phone. But it's now become terribly inconvenient in numerous ways not to have one. And that makes me sad.
Because I don't want one, etc etc etc boohoo.
Right. I am going to the store for some chips. I'll be back.

It's all good, man. I'm just being lazy. I'll probably call you at 3 am or something. I've transitioned from cheap beer to raspberry wine from Oregon now. It's actually quite nice.
Are you going to post the poem?

I studied theology for twenty years in a cave in Tibet. I can categorically state that God does not hate you because you don't have a cell phone. He hates you 'cos you are a fucking cunt.

Thanks for your help, Tommy! I knew it must be for some reason!
