how can this be?

the mujeres totally bailed. we could have gone dancing, but no, it was chick flick night a la divorce -- meaning, oh god no, underworld.

i wanted to make a bad underwear joke through the whole movie but couldn't think of one. . . and i paid!

that chick blasted through a butt load of male types though. i think this really should be the celebration movie for most women getting divorced, welcome to vampire world where all chicks where plastic/rubber suites and can perform matrix like moves while mowing down ex-husbands, whoops, i mean werewolves. :)

The chick in Underworld was hot. :)

It was good for a cheesy vampire flick.

Hehe ... It's a Friday night at a college. I am getting drunk on the most amazing drink ever created: Sparks. Half beer, half energy drink, tastes like pixie sticks.

mmmm... and I'm drunkenly learning Japanese. This really should be interesting!
Lie to me, it takes less time to drink you pretty.

morning, pixie, we should be in the same town.

the town should be so lucky, hugh?

japanese! that makes me think of that song, turning japanese . . . you know the one? this whole conversation is now making me think about the japanese comics, you know the books?

okay you have one up on me, i think this is definately an occupational hazard though, i do not try to learn when i'm drunk, i try to teach, it's really bad. the last time i thought i was saying something really profound while drunk, it had to do with pi, infinity, and the right to teach a theory regardless of whether or not you agree with it -- wtf -- it's a theory!! anyway -- i thought i was making a lot of sense. then i passed out.

a few weeks later at breakfast this guy who i'm friends with is like please do not try to explain that shit again, and for god's sake no diagrams!

(i've got her boots by the way -- what size shoe do you wear? i'll let you borrow them sometime, let me forewarn you though, i can not run in them, hike, yes, run, no, of course i haven't been able to run well since i was in high school -- too many cigarrettes :) )

Ahhh I love the I'm Turning Japanese song ! mmm who's that by? *thinks* ... oh well it's around here somewhere. *Has an amazingly embarassing collection of 80s pop on vinyl from the days when she worked at a local record store* You mean manga comics? (yeah yeah, I'm one of those geeks that likes anime. But, I just know it's pretty, I don't know shit about it from there. I'm lucky I can tell you what shows I like - there *is* this really cute one that's title translates as "three little witches" or something. it's adorable.)
Haha we should live in the same town - you could explain pi to me drunk all you want I'd probably still give you the same blank look. I have a horrible time making math work - theoretically I'm all about it I just can't apply it.
That's why my bank and I are on the honor system. Because I'm notoriously bad at math. My freinds think I'm incapable of balancing a chequebook - and so believe me when I say I think I'm broke.

Hehe ... even though I'm broke there's a big rave in Minneapolis the boy and I are going to. We thought we wouldn't be able to go - but he did actually find a new car he can both afford and has decent gas milage so we can probably go for about $100 tops. Maybe less though. The only problem is he'll have to drive the entire way probably since I really can't drive.

Hmm boots huh ... lol

hahaha!! "you could explain pi to me drunk all you want I'd probably still give you the same blank look"

don't worry it'll be the same blank look everyone gives me when i get off on that tangent (hardy, har, har, geometry joke :))

i have no check books, check cards, or credit cards, i'm on the if it ain't cash don't buy it system -- i think the honor one's sold out.

yes, manga, anime, the kids showed me these fantastic books, of course, i end up getting into it with the adults about them, they are like this japanime can lead to hard core abuse and negative images of women, look at how they're drawn. i'm like whatever, racists, you all read dc comics!

they read back to front, which is really a good way to teach a cultural difference -- lots of non-western languages -- duh!

adults are so stupid.

so you're going to a rave, and you're going to have to give me that recipe for the tasty drink, the last really tasty drink i got into was a midouri (can't spell it, not even going to try) sour. i was like oh, my god, give me the bottle! it was very unfortunate because we were outside at one of those all day music festivals and i ended up as dehydrated as a stick of beef jerky by the end of it -- but it's one good drink.

my next musical event will not be a rave, i have to admit i never got into the rave culture, but that's fine, you know, me and my pal are going to see vic chestnut. i'll probably drive and he can get drunk, the last time i left it to him to take care of things, he lost the tickets and we ended up seeing madagascar instead of bright eyes! men.

so anyway, hellsing is the one my kids like and i just looked it up -- andi am going to be the coolest nerd teacher in the world come monday -- the artist describes himself as a fanboy!!

fanboy is the mnemonic device i use to teach the conjunctions, and adults were downing manga! idiots!!
