I knew you were young, but not even 20 yet? Happy birthday...celebrate as befits a PA regular (and I don't mean by posting semi-fictional accounts of your sexual prowess on this site). I mean, have a great birthday filled with the things that PA stands for. You'll have to ask McCutcheon and the Sloth what those are, exactly, since they started the thing, and remember, you're at least 10 years younger than the average age on here.

This is kindof weird because I was just thinking of you yesterday and thinking how I'd always assumed you were 19 without actually knowing for sure if you were.

Well happy birthday! And no, this doesn't mean you have to grow up.

Pixie FYI the "sex pistols" were a rythmic pop combination group from London. They produced one bona fide album. This album saved enormous natural resources by making people stop wearing flared pants. It also made it OK to have short hair. We are still living with the repercussions of this.

The Sex Pistols: The new teenage sensation! Good enough to be in glossy 80's UK teen music mags like Smash Hits with Boy George and Wham! and Bros.! The secret is out! I followed the UK teen music press when I was in junior high! Because I AM CRAZY. I REPEAT: I AM CRAZY.

And you ask me why? And I'll say because Frankie Goes To Hollywood was so damn cool at the time and they were so much more popular over THERE! Barely made a splash at all here, in comparison! And I absorbed it all through the magazines.

Of course, Frankie don't seem all that important in hindsight, but hey I was 13 at the time or something like that. The point is that yes I was STILL a goddamn anglophiliac music nerd even at 13 years of age. If you thought there might have been some hope for me to recover from this disease, you were wrong. If I'd have known Joy Division existed then, though...at the time the Band Aid thing was happening. If someone had played me Joy Division back then when they were singing "Feed The World.." ...god I can't even imagine how that would have affected my mind. I still had a year or two more to go before I heard Joy Division.
