Mmm... Summer

Post by TragicPixie »

My exams were done friday but ... despite getting drunk and being stupid I'm still depressed.

It's tempting to go to new york with the boy ... but ... then again, it's stupid too. Ugh.

... at least I have my gin.
Lie to me, it takes less time to drink you pretty.

spin spin she drank too much gin
give Tragic Pixie magic mushrooms
all the colors of gasoline in a puddle
my mind is made up
and it is a muddle
see you in New York moo cow.

be stupid

or as a really dumb song goes:

be young, be foolish, but be happy!

(or is it "and" be happy, who cares about the conjunction.
DO IT!)

Bleh I've decided the New York thing is too irresponsible (even for me) ... these are the same guys I did Toronto with. Pretty much and they're either going in two weeks or two months: one is too soon I have not even $200 now, the other is too late... that'll be July and I start classes at the end of August and of course ... I still have that tuition cheque to pay ...

But maybe if they go and get their act together I'll have to visit (this is of course after I get my car fixed ... or just get a new one ... I want a cute car...)

Don't get that car.

New front brakes, fixed fuel line to turbo charger, oil change, new rod for front suspension. Parts and labour. $1,036. Go on, ask me how much fun I had today. A thousand bucks is a lot of rare vinyl. (Which seems to be the usual currency on this board.)

well I might want to get some job so I can quit it in the fall and go back to being a lazy student...

of course... and Tricia (my lovely roommate) and I have agreed to be hot and sexy and get over our recent exs (... or maybe replace them; assuming the stupid boy I pine for doesn't move to New York... eh my life is turning into Garden State ick)
I suppose the usual things kids do stuck in the midwest all summer... drink, party ...

and yeah, tell me about car issues! Haha I was asked (very sweetly) to not drive my car until it's been fixed by a friend of mine who does something or another with cars. Apparently, it's a deathtrap.

Hehe... and of course, as usual I will try to lose 30lbs. I think I'll look for a job and an apartment for tomorrow because although I haven't mentioned it to the stupid boy, I'd of course be happy to let him live with me ... if he'll pay half the rent and keep some form of employment. Just 'til August... he wouldn't have to be on the lease ... and wouldn't have to be stuck in his parents house going crazy (... and neither would I!)

It is not something that I usually harp on about, but I do have the ability to see into the future. I crack open a half case of industrial strength IPA, clear a space on the carpet and plop myself down between stategically placed Peel sessions records to create an aura. (A lot like Marky does most weekends.) That's when the visions come.

Give me a minute an I'll try and see what the summer holds for Pixie......(sounds of clinking, drinking and farting -If that isn't the title of a Happy Monday's song it should be)

Right then, the clouds are clearing. Pixie you will make haphazard and rash decisions about men. You will sleep with them and wonder if these sessions are adding up to more than sex. They aren't. You will procrastinate about making voyages but make them anyway. You will decide to get steady employment to address your debt exactly two months after the date when you should have got employment to address your debt. Oh no! The mist is falling again. Hope this was of some use for you.

hey wow, that explains my last couple months as long as you replace men with women, debt with huge debt, and procratinating with drinking.

hehe ... well there's nothing wrong with that now is there ...

and those rash descions with men led to some of the best sex I've had in ... fucking forever Tuesday night. It was like he cared or something ... mmm... Well, I'm sure everyone here knows how it goes with rebounds. But he's planning on leaving in a few months anyhow so why should I waste time and energy trying not to fall for him!

Oh God am I ever sorry I missed this thread. Laughing my ass off.

When's McC gonna start his own garage fixing cars where the only form of payment is vinyl records? Christ, I'd like to see that. "Sure, just set them down over there. What? Your car? Oh, I'll get to it next week" *cues up another record*

Also, the phone number for the nearest record shop just fell down off my wall. Is this a bad omen, oh IPA Fueled Seer?
