Good for you Pixie! New Orleans is a place I have rather fond memories of, though I was there only briefly.

I am not finished yet. Well be in about 2 weeks time. I was planning to travel somewhere for the break, but the problem is New Order haven't announced the rest of their tour dates yet so I am waiting for that before I go anywhere.

I will only have about 12 days before school starts again. :(
But I plan to make the most out of it.

They only have two dates in California lined up right now and that's it. But Hooky said they are determined to do a lot of U.S. dates cause they felt guilty they didn't do much last time around. I'll let you know.

LCD Soundsystem are doing a New York show April 2, though - and that makes me terribly envious of you because they seem to be hitting all kinds of places in England and Europe, but not much here! I tried to buy their album on vinyl only to find it wasn't even available on vinyl unless you get the import. What the fuck?

mmm new order... sounds like a better spring break plan ;)

I actually only have a week off - but then I'm back for a week and have another week off for Easter (the joys of Jesuit school)

Pixie, I think we should each write a song about spring break.
Using even a cheap Casio keyboard if necessary.

We must give careful thought about what spring break is, what it means, how to calculate it, what the rules and regulations are, and spend every waking hour of the break reading pages and pages and pages about spring break. And then when we get to the end, there will be a test on spring break.

The guy who teaches Intermediate Accounting is just an out and out dick. Most of the class can't stand him, but I might just despise him the most. I've put up with his ass for two quarters and this is the end of the road I won't have to see him again if I can figure out how to take this one other class without him teaching it. Either way, I won't have to deal with him next quarter, which is enough for me at the moment.

I've had some really bad instructors in my day but with him it goes beyond just being a bad teacher. There is something very impersonal, nauseatingly patronizing and sadistic about this guy, something really wrong, even on the most basic social level. People sense it.

I'm sorry marky - I don't think I could stomach an accounting class in the first place so I'll take your word for it. I am rather happy with my one required math course with it being the art math of MC Esher and my midterm being drawing triangles...
In fact, I think I could easily take said exam even in the inebriated state I am now... Plus the prof. is really amusing... he "twouks" or something like that... hehe

mmm *sings about spring break and dances around*

oh the worst bit of spring break: I'm eating - and not throwing up nearly enough... because I can't stand the thought of wasting alcohol.
