tom waits has a line that goes:
"You don't meet nice girls in coffee shops."

i did and married one, she was nice though and would frown/smile when i would sing that line as the song played.

also a poem i wrote about coffee shops and bars:

Cafe's leave me so
uninspired.
What can be expected
from a house of
desperate thinkers?

Put me in a bar
instead
and I'll find my inspiration
in a crowd of
desperate drinkers.

and on that note i am so ill in the stomach and am going to lie in bed and cry.

Are those your original words Jake? "Desperate thinkers..drinkers", it feels as though I've heard that before, somewhere, but where?

aye, but it never stops, hollidays and i'm getting pulled all over the place been in Cedarburg, then down to chicago and back, back up to cedarburg, am late now for visiting a girl / friend, then out with brother, then to dinner, then back to cedarburg, shit... i need a break from everyone, my stomach is churning.

i think they are my words but with the billions of words written before me it wouldn't surprise me if someone spoke or wrote or sang them before. don't call the police...

When I was little I used to drink little dixie cups of water until I would throw up so I wouldn't have to go to school. They were tiny little cups. It used to take me 10 to 15 cups before I would do it. then I would run to my mom and say "I am sick I can't go to school!" and she would say, "That's only water in the toilet... you just threw up water."

Well she still uses the same cups and now I need to drink 10 to 15 cups of it to avoid a hangover the next day.
