I'm sure all from the PA crowd would have provided drink and good cheer on your birthday...we'll have to have that Paxacidus trip someday, then celebrate all of our birthdays at once.

bf jake,
Happy Birthday. Belated.
If you're still in Florida you might like St. Augustine --The White Lion, the Hill Top Bar (I think or mill top, I can't remember, I must always be drinking too much when I'm there, oh vacations! -- fun places) sometimes good music, and not destroyed by a hurricane last time I checked.

Rosie, the last time I saw you that line was hilarious.
I think were were all a bit addled and you said...
"Wow, you are just the people I wanted to see but not now."

So I'm off to my favorite well, I didn't do well with superlatives in school, so one of my favorite pubs today -- with one of my favorite girlfriends who had to go and get herself preggers (is that the way that is spelled?) It's Ri-Ra's in Ralleigh, and I can tell you all why I used to hate Raleigh -- strip malls, strip malls, strip malls, I mean giant ones with three story Barnes and Nobles, but my best guy girlfriend decided to move his lovely large ass on down there and make a shit load of money, sellout, and now I'm doomed to go visit, and oh crap, enjoy myself. So I'm off to Ri-Ra's and since my girlfriend is preggers, she's driving and I'm drinking. Oh, the joys of motherhood -- hers that is. The stories I could tell about her and her former skater-boy husband. He's teaching kids how to make a car that runs off of used vegetables -- a-politcal liberals, MC, what the hell can you do with them?
I'm also picking up my Picasso print of Peace because I've learned a whole lot about Mr. Picasso since I was first introduced to him with gross me out Guernica -- and I owe him an apology. I was wrong about him -- sometimes first impressions are so off the mark it is really not funny.
Also see War and Peace for Mr. Picasso explains it all.
And does anyone else think some of Picasso's prints look a hell of a lot like John Lennon's stuff, or is it just me?

well the bar truly is a beautiful place, especially when you're eating really really bad Brucshetta and having a beer
Hi Rosie.
