HA ha ha! All RIGHT! We've got a section called PUB TALK!!! FUCK YEAH!!! 
There's another comedic thing by Negativland that it reminds me of because they had a silly radio show called "Car Talk" or some such thing. I love Negativland. They're not perfect, but damn if they don't make me laugh. Anyway, a pub talk thread = this is great. We have to pretend we're in a pub the whole time!
That's why NYC Scribbles is just my shit. My shit is bad enough without other people's shit.

I haven't heard the show on NPR. Negativland are a bunch of guys from San Francisco who have done a radio show for 20 years, and have released a lot of albums/CD's along the way. They take bits of music, samples, sounds, speeches, noises, whatever they can find and mash it all up in a blender so that what comes out ends up sounding very silly, weird, subversive, politically left-field, and pokes fun at our culture. Sometimes it's just bust-a-gut hilarious. U2 once sued them because they did a funny parody of "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". They're not homophobic by any stretch either. Yeah you can't find NPR in the South... and I have 24 hour Fox News in Sweden.
