I was given the dvd of the Fearless Freaks. It is a film about the band "The Flaming Lips." Band documentaries are usually crap. This was amazing. Certainly one to watch.

The fella who shot it has known the band for a very long time. Tons of the footage was taken before it was decided there was even going to be a film so there is a real naturalness about it all.

It's funny. It's sad. And I can say without doubt that if you were not a fan of the music you will be a fan of the band by the end of it.

I know the music types on here have all probably seen it a dozen times but it was a surprise to me.
