shot a film, starting a company

Post by bfj »

so I went up to door county this weekend with a friend and shot for a couple days at an Asian Art Festival that also included Pakistani stone carvers and Afghani rug makers. so me and my friend are going to start our own company "Sensory Preservation Society." I think I'm turning half of my house into a office for film and multimedia and my basement into a practice space and recording studio. It's been a good week, and good to just fucking shoot again!

Congratulations! Keep shooting stuff and being creative. Good luck with the company.

I have a small production company...such as it is. It hasn't made me any money yet, but I've made a few shorts and I'm working on a documentary now called "Birthdays are a Drag".

Keep posting about the stuff you're working on, it's interesting to hear about other people's projects.

Right On, next week we are going to shoot a science show called "Andre the Science Way." Andre is an eccentric science teacher who comes into classrooms and does experiments for the kids.

That's cool. Sometimes if you can get known by those types of people, they'll pay for you to make a promo video for them. Also schools might have small budgets to shoot certain events. good luck!
