the best show I've seen on American tv since the Simpsons is the new Whoppi one. Very politicala nd funny. and they evenn had somking pot last night.

Today I walked by a guy standing in the rain. He was selling a 20-page booklet of poems for $5. The poems were printed at Kinko's and single stapled. I didn't buy any. I felt bad. A block later I wondered if I should be out in the rain trying to sell my poems. If people walked by ignoring me I would have no right to get mad. But shit the rainy season is here and it's cold. I'm going home to listen to records and edit my novel. Then watch the baseball. I work hard, but do I work hard enough?
