I think the point is, if you can't afford a vacation, pretend you can.

I like the architecture. But the B&W contrasts is rather ugly.

We'd all love to jet off to the isles of Greece, I'm sure. Unfortunately, many of us do not have the means to do so. As such, I shall expect you to fill us in on every ounce of every thing you do each day from a lovely glass of chardonnay to a fine and dandy bowel movement.

How come Myke and Martino always post together? Martino goes away on vacation and Myke doesn't post. Why is that?

I have a theory. Myke and Martino are the same person. Martino created Myke just to stir the old dishwater at PaxAcidus up a bit. After all, no one has ever actually seen Myke from here. And he is a blonde haired blue eyed German. Coincidense???? You tell me. Say it ain't so, Joe.

myke.... I mean, Martino. No, no. Mark ... NOT. ... Maverick. Gotcha! It's really McCutcheon again! Hell, ain't it fun to impersonate????

Well, actually, no. No offense guys, but as far as the atmosphere here, I'm tired of fiction and multiples and bullshit and sort of half-truths which could sort of be true because they *could* contain a single grain of truth but really they're just lies or at best fantasies, etc etc etc.

What's wrong with the truth anyway? What's so inherently more interesting about deception? I just don't get it. I suggest anyone who likes this sort of thing start their own deception thread and keep their deception fetish there so I'll know which threads to avoid. Thanks.

That's funny Mark because the reason I took the vacation to Greece was for you. I thought you were taking everything too seriously. So I said, I'm leaving. And I thought your reply to flying in outer space was one of your best posts ever. It left me in stitches. And you know stitches, and space and naked volleyball in Greece is better than dishwater.

Well, okay, but I found it strange that I'd written you an email that week, just after our failed attempt to meet, and instead of replying to my email, you chose to go to Greece. It was a bit rude.

As for how seriously I take things, I'll say the same thing I said to Sloth not long ago...be careful not to overestimate how seriously I am taking things on this board. I admit I'm not much of a jokester, so when I do get in the mood for a bit of a laugh, it doesn't always come across too well. For example, my post to Tommy in which I asked all the questions about having a band t-shirt on at midnight your 40th birthday came from absolutely rolling with laughter, and yet when I read it back, none of my laughter seems to come through. It can be frustrating.

Man ... you two snip at each other more than an old married couple.

Who is who? ...

'I told you when I could go out.'.`
'Just call me by 5.'
'I called you by 5 but you didn't answer'
'Well, we were where we said we'd be, where were you?'
'I'll e-mail you.'
'You said that last time.'
'Let's go out tonight'
'But I told you tonight was bad, what about tomorrow.'
'Sorry, it's tonight or no go.'
'Asshole'
'Bitch'
'Nyah!' {as tongue sticks out}
