I saved A turtle today ...

Ok, so I did a good deed today and it made me feel kinda cool so I wanna tell y'all about it. I was leaving for lunch from work a while ago and was going down a 4 lane, heavily traveled highway when I saw this salad plate sized turtle trying to cross the road. Other cars didn't seem to notice and I thought he would surefire get flattened. I turned my car around, threw the hazards on, parked in the median and got out to save the turtle. I felt like an idiot but I ran across the road and sat him behind a small business in a grassy field.
So there. I'm not all evil.

yes you are. turtles are satans creation. saving turtles is evil.

I'm pretty sure that turtles carry the plague and leprosy. Anything fall off yet? Are you developing black spots? Are you sure it wasn't a massive cocka roach? I always think cocka roaches are turtles, I bring them home to my wife and she screams at me. Some women just don't appreciate a good deed.

No ... nothing falling off but if I catch really bad like Ebola, before my organs turn to mush and I bleed out of every orifice, I'll sneeze real hard and blow lots of snot on a kleenex and mail it to Seattle and Vancouver. I'll die knowing I was worse than Typhoid Mary. Damn. I really am evil.

See ... Maverick ... I live in the Bible thumpin' south ... this is true. No denyin' it. Unfortunately, that doesn't matter squat to my personality. I don't go to church and when people try the Bible thumpin' sermons on me to try to get me to, it only serves to make my resolve harder.
BTW ... with what few good deeds I'm sure to be know for, why not announce one of the few????
Oh, I also let a wasp (bee, not white anglo saxon protestant) out of our office the other day when everyone else wanted to kill it (again, the bee).
