the movie sounds interesting Rosie. Might have to check it out. K is having a sleepover with a friend so perhaps I'll wander across the street to see some lovely, colorful paintings.
Speaking of colorful, I ran into Tony the tiger at the local QFC and his eye was technicolor. Amazing what a ball to the side of the head can do to a man's eye.

Ingrid is leaving. I want to go the Vines concert. On the whack from NME they said they're debut album was like the 86th best of all time. I doubt it... but they gotta be worth seeing. The ripped apart the Lettermen set and the Leno set. The lead singer wants to be Kurt Cobain a little to much. This is their first Seattle show. Maybe he will blow his head off onstage. The 19th at the Moore.

I have a feeling I am going to the Supergrass show... but i have no one to go with... and I saw them play there before anyway. And I don't have any pills so it just won't be the same. Maybe i will stay at home.

I'm going to the Vines, Ooh to catch opening band The Music. I listened to them in the store and got their new CD for only $9. They might get a little too derivative of Led Zep at times, but overall I found them interesting.

If you want to get off, watch the movie The Weight of Water staring the oh so fucking sexy Liz Hurely. I mean the woman is sex. I was giggling with pleasure watching her suck lobster.

Okay here is the scene, Liz Hurely hangs out on a boat all day floating on the water in the skimpiest bikini bottoms, see how I didn't mention a skimpy bikini top? That's because she isn't wearing one! We have Liz alive and naked and all she does is soak up the rays, drinks wine and talks about poetry with a writer. It was so hot it even made me actually work on a poem (usually I write them once, give it to Sloth for the site and never look at it again) but Liz, oh Liz was so hot I spent three days trying to write a stanza! It would help if I knew what a stanza was. I’d learn anything for LIZ!!!!! Oh yeah, and guess what, that writer is so good that when they are haiving lunch on the shore, and the poet is drunk, as poets usually are, a teenage girl comes up and blushes and says she loves his work. OH MY GOOD!!! We know this is fiction if poets are getting groupies. But so fucking what. The movie is great, anyway.

Yeah we can meet up early Sloth. I can't think of what bars you might be talking about near there, though. The Moore's in an unlikely spot, I don't give it much thought except on the rare occaision I go by it and then I think "oh yeah that's where the Moore is". I don't know that I've ever actually gone to a show there before.

Slipmats are what you put under records. I got some cool sicmats. beer mats are what you put under a Freedom Pint.

Ha ha ha! That's wonderfully entertaining! I had no idea there was such variety in slipmats. No doubt you chose a beautiful one. I wonder what it's like when it spins around. Hopefully you don't want to be too drunk when you look at it! I think it's most hilarious though that there's a chronic one. The idea of putting a picture of pot plants on your turn table just strikes me as really funny.
