The novel is by Philippe Djian. I don't think it has ever been translated into English. Djian hated the film adoptation, even though the film is great. Writers.

Any new novel worth reading ... I can always use the advice. I'm working on builing a small, notable (to me, anyway) hardback book library and recently noticed I had to much modern crap in it. So I donated most of it and started near fresh. I kept a few of my favorite one s including some Conroy, Anne Rice, and Jack K.

It's cold here in the south today. Is Seattle really that rainy?
