Hi all,

I'm just listening to the last compilation (the third, actually) of singles produced
by the music label named "Brique Rouge", and it makes my head
move forward and backward.

Since many of you made me discover great things, I just
thought that I should share this.

http://www.briquerouge.com/ , if you want to know more.

In the name of me, I thank you for the warm welcome :-).

You can listen to a david duriez mix, one of the "brique rouge" label fondator, at :
http://www.housemuzak.com/housemuziq/mp3/davidduriezdjmix.mp3

It is really a lot different than the music included in the compilation mentioned above (which is way slower), and I don't think it really represents what they are doing, at least
not the most interesting part, because it doesn't contain any of their title.

You can also search for "brique rouge" labeled titles on http://www.nuloop.fr/ . You should find some titles and be able to listen to some excerpts.

Well, I just remembered that I came here the first to read the "The Rex club is the Sex Club" novel. So What ? Well it happens that Laurent Garnier, who had and still has a residence at the Rex club, just spreads his really impressive knowledge of music every saturday, from 20 P.M to 22 P.M (french local hours) on Radio Nova.

I haven't listened to him on radio nova for a
long time, but it is usually really awesome.
Really usefull if you want to discover new or unknown good tracks.

The good thing is that you can listen to this radio online, at http://www.novaplanet.com/ (top left corner, "radio nova live").

During the week, you can also ear some great mixes, from every kind of artist. It starts at 22 P.M and usually lasts one hour.

It would not have been fair to keep this secret :-).

I hope you'll enjoy.

Hey Julien, have the read the fictional account of the Rex Club I wrote?

The last time I was in Paris I deliberately didn't go back there because my memories of the place are so fond I didn't want to destoy them.

Yes, and I really *loved* it. I really mean it. You are trully
talented people, no doubt.

I would really love to go dancing to the Laurent Garnier music
tomorrow night. This man can make a smile appear on the face
of the crowd during 6 hours, and it's just magic.

I even have a 25 minutes video of a live concert that I won't forget. It was a space ship with hundreds of happy people !

I must put this on the web. I wil tell you as soon as you can see it. You might even be able to see my face in the video,
and it, too, remind me of a space ship :-).

Sloth and I were together at the REX and we meet Laurent. It's my fav club in Paris. Unpretenious and lovely. If you read Girls Night Out, at the beging when the girls walk down the stairs into the club I took that from the REX. The walking down the stairs into the music. perfect.

Sorry to mess that up Julian. J'espere que tu peux me pardonner.

Well its the first week we've ever got any publicity at all for Pax Acidus and the bb is quiet as ever and we only got one letter which was a hate letter for mc and not very clever at all. People in Seattle are mostly indifferent I guess. Fuck it.

At least the World Series in interesting.

Sloth don't worry about people in Seattle. people like Julien in Paris is were it's at. remember when we first moved to Seattle and all the clubs sucked and all the people sucked. You think things change? All I can say about Seattle is that all by best friends live there. See, it really sucks. game 7. I want the Angels and I want Dusty Baker to move to Mariners. I'm confused by this baseball thing. wierd huh?

Don't worry Ooh, I've read part of "The Living Dead Don't Get A Holiday" this week-end, and this is more than enough to let you...well...nevermind :-).

As for the quiet bb, I thought that it might have been better not to speak about Pax Acidus to everyone because it's so delightfull as it is now, and I would not like to see it polluted by people such as the one that wrote you the hate letter.

Finally, I'm just listening to the "Classic And Rare" compilation of the "F Communications" music label, and I must
say it's fucking great. Lots of unreleased tracks and remixes. It's even better when I'm reading Pax Acidus :-).

Wow! I can log in!!

I agree the bb is fine as it is. If there were too many people everything would get bogged down.
Most people aren't likely to notice what's under the Stranger moniker to begin with, much less go to the trouble of typing in the URL, although with a name as cool as paxacidus, I'm sure there have been some. Perhaps they're lurking.

I think it's great you guys are putting together a joint book. Makes me wish I considered myself a writer.
