VU Bootleg Quine tapes

I’ve been listening to this three CD set constantly for almost a month now, and it is some of the greatest music I’ve ever heard. Of course, Lou Reed is my favorite musician. Included are three fabulous performances of Sister Ray and two of Foggy Notion. I’m Waiting for the Man is a much better rendition of the song on The Velvet Underground & Nico album. And Moe Tucker has a great voice.

I'm big on Lou, too. Infact we share a birthday.
My only complaint about the Quine tapes is I
think some of the tracks go on too long, but
that said, my fave song on it is 17 minutes
long! It's called "Follow The Leader". How
they manage to keep that groove going for that
long without me going berserk, I dunno.
