Okay I saw the film today with my mate Chris. It was amazing. The first half is about Ian Curtis and the second half is about Shaun Ryder.
I don't think I have to do any more explaining.

No its the only film of the year.

Boy I can't wait to see that when it comes out here in three years. I've heard the acting is up to pare and the bloke who played Ian Curtis did a great job.
Is the soundtrack out? I've probably have all the tunes already anyway.
I always said in my sad desert island debate that if I had to pick only one city and I could only listen to music made by people from that city I would pick Manchester- hands down.
2. Detroit- Iggy, Motown, MC5, Derrick May and all the techno boys and White Stripes, Tommy James.
3. New York- For The Velvet Underground alone.
4. Paris- Serge Gainsbourg, Paif, and all dance music that matters.
5. Toss up! Liverpool because you can't live without the Beatles (and Space and The La's) or London because you can't live without The Stones and Kinks.
Some Yank wank mag did the best 50 bands off all time and left out The Kinks. It is called Spin. Never buy Spin. Everyone knows that behind the Velvet Underground the Kinks are the best band of all time.
Sloth- they also left out The Doors. Think what you will of Jim Morrison, love 'em or hate 'em (or be like me and take too many drugs in London and think you are Jim Morrison reincarnated for 36 hours)but The Doors were fucking Rock-n-Roll.

I can't go to Conchella- last Sat Nite I lost over a $1,000 in DJ stuff and now have to save my money. I also lost my cell phone (I don't have any numbers) and lucky Swiss Army knife. Fuck, I could use some Joy Division right about now. Oh yeah, that was stolen also. Ian Curtis killed himself May 20th 1980. I think I shouldn't know this by heart, but I do.
