I SAW ROSIE! I SAW HER!

Post by marky »

This is just to make public, at the request of
a Mr. McCutcheon, the fact that I actually
got to meet this woman Rosie for the first
time last night.

She had on a Judas Priest T-Shirt.

So party and rock on til the day
you die. Like it's 1999 only it's
2002. It's just a 2 year time warp.
Just for us. To party like it's
2002.

screaming with vengance. judas priest. so good.
i have been on a butt rawk bender lately. it is indulgent ,but satisfying. my favorite is to go the canterbury and play the hits.
other people like to rawk.
even though i was potted i remember seeing mark, i believe he was djing, but i was drinking heavily so the night is a distant memory.
i remember the lighting was nice and the music good!!! i think the chiefton has butt rawk in him.i can feel it.

what's butt rawk? Actually I listen to anything from bluegrass to north american indian music. In between with acoustic, jam, jazz, hard rock, you know the usual crap. If butt rawk is the likes of pearl jam and Crazy Horse, yeah I guess I like to get butt rawked once in a while, although I prefer Townes Van Zandt or Planet Drum.

Oh yeah, RIP to Way"long" Jennings. Original outlaw, smoking his weed, partying with Willie Nelson, original member of Buddy Holly's second band. I know some one out there will miss ya.

Butt rawk...I don't think I've heard that term
before but I think it's a funny name. Ha ha.
I only mentioned that Rosie had a Judas Priest
T-Shirt because she asked me to. (Though
understandably, she may not remember this)

Well I know J.P. are British so I guess
they get points for that in my book, but
I don't recall ever taking a liking to
them. From the bands mentioned here in
this genre "butt rawk" I guess I'm not
much into it, although I have no problem
with early Van Halen, and I'm sure there
are other acts not mentioned here that
may be considered "butt rawk" that I
might like.

But Led Zeppelin...are they considered
"butt rawk"? I'm a big fan.

Can't say I know a lot about Waylon
Jennings, but I've been surprised by
how many times Willie Nelson struck
me as being very cool. I saw him on
T.V. once on PBS just doing a kindof
quiet solo acoustic kind of thing...
great stuff. If he had a biography
out or something, that would be
interesting.

Also, what about Black Sabbath/Ozzy? I
dig that stuff too.

I was just at the music shop, buying little songs to get the yuck out of my head, and what had been left unpurchased on the counter -- Waylon Jennings. I had to smile, smile, smile
