q-burns abstract message makes great music plays so so house

In heavy rotation at Pax Acidus HQ the Bottle of Blue is Kid Loco, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Primal Scream and q-burns abstract message. Last night I went and saw Q play at Nation. Now here is the thing, I don't get it when DJ spins stuff that isn't superior to their own music. q didn't play bugeyed sunglasses, solar car or even his remixes. Fantastic Plastic Machine had no problems play tracks from all three of his albums. Is there some unwritten law, is it a faux pas? Hell no! blow your own trumpet I say DJ's Play your own toons. If you got em use em!
