In no particular order...

1. Sonic Youth - Rather Ripped (I've only just begun to realize how staggeringly amazing this is...haven't bothered with SY in years)
2. The Longcut - A Call & Response (no Factory fan should be without this)
3. I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness - Fear Is On Our Side
4. The Killers - Sam's Town
5. Scritti Politti - White Bread, Black Beer
6. The Knife - Silent Shout
7. LCD Soundsystem - 45:33
8. The Who - Endless Wire
9. Durutti Column - Keep Breathing
10. Burial - Burial
11. Final Fantasy - He Poos Clouds
12. The Church - Uninvited, Like The Clouds
13. Roedelius - Aquarello (though this was only a reissue)

That Kode 9 & The Spaceape got a lot of votes, Sloth. I'd like to hear that.

I really have been making a special effort to care about 2006 music. I don't know why.

Well I was all set to go to bed for the night, but now Sonic Youth are making me cry. I can't believe they sound like that in 2006. Holy shit.

Yeah I'm just getting silly blubbery now. Sonic Youth. Just bawling over Sonic Youth's album this year. "Rather Ripped".

I'm gonna play Waterboys' "December" tonight too. I'll be damned if I'm going to bed yet.

I don't really like The Longcut. They sound really 1988 even theough they are 2005.

I like the Klaxons though.

I REALLY like the Klaxons.

And I don't like the knife.

There was much better techno 10 years ago... I would post who but I sold all the CDs for drugs and can't remember.

I like one song by the Klaxons (it's the single I believe), other tracks didn't seem as good. I found the Knife's album didn't live up to the first two tracks on it, either.
