Thanks for the tip McC! I'm gonna load that in a sec here, looks like fun. I admit I don't seek out stuff on YouTube anymore simply because it takes even longer for anything to load now that I am cursed with dialup. I have this feeling though that I have a cassette tape (audio variety) of this song somewhere. I seem to remember someone adding it to the end of some other tape they made me, but god knows if I even have it anymore either. I don't feel like looking for it in any case.
I did manage to download an entire hour's worth of a recent BBC TV special on the Fall though - it took me three days to get it all! Three days!
Anyway I just came here to say that tonight I finally got Velvet Underground "Live at Max's Kansas City" reissued remastered double CD. It's really quite good, much better than I would have expected. Hearing Lou sing a version of "I'll Be Your Mirror" nearly made me cry, even though that's never been one of my favourites. And the sleeve note comments from people make you kind of think "what if I was really in New York in 1970 at this place? Where all these cool artistic people hung out? What if I was really there? Wow"

Just watched the video you linked to upthread, McC. Jeezus. What a trip. But the thing that really bothers me is: that was the singer of Section 25 who was singing toward the end wasn't it? I mean who the hell else could that guy be but the guy from Section 25? But yet I never would have dreamed he would look like that when he was younger. It's a bit of a trip, and I can't wait to tell my friend from Glasgow who's fave band in the world is Section 25.

Also, didn't Tony Wilson come across very gay in that video? I couldn't figure it out because normally he never comes across gay, and then I thought "well this is just an early 80's fashion disaster, that's all" - that jumper! Jeezus, how cheesy, and his hair! No.. no no no Tony. Surely you looked better in 1987. Surely.
