Hot Chip indie dance Hot Shit

Marky-

Hot Chip sounds like a Brixton duo pretending to be the Postal Service playing Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark cover songs, especially their post- postpunk stuff, specifically 'So In Love' and remixed by those cute Icelandic kids MÚM. At least one song does.

Yeah, I've heard a couple of their songs now, I think they're great. I'd like to have the whole album. Word on the street is their first album isn't as good as this new one.

Hey you got any Ian Dury McC? I got his "Do It Yourself" CD in the mail today, '79 I think, real nice post-punk funk/disco with a Cockney accent, right? I danced outside in the sunshine before I passed out.

Also can you believe I played every single Stone Roses song ever recorded today one after another and the last one was I Am The Resurrection? Man, that was great. I feel cleansed. When I Want To Be Adored starts, you can just feel the Beatles shuddering.

If I was wiv you I'd give you a big bear hug so you could barely breathe, McC, ya cunt.
