Well this isn't quite the way I heard it, you see...I just heard that they were changing the *time* slot of TOTP. Which didn't in and of itself exactly break my heart because I can't watch it so I don't care what time it comes on.

But if it's dead, I guess that's sad. But not even close to as sad as John Peel's death. You know what? My coworkers gave me a gift card for Barnes and Noble (because I graduated, they gave me this card) but BARNES & NOBLE DON'T HAVE THE BLOODY NEWLY RELEASED PEEL BOOK I WANT BECAUSE GOD HATES ME BECAUSE I'M AN ANGLOPHILE ETC. ETC.

Also Kate Bush's "Bertie" a song she did for her young son that appears on her latest album, now that is absolutely a soothing cure for my anglophile soul. That is English music, let there be no mistake. You might feel like you are in the 1800's when that is on. Just warning you.

Thank god I don't post this shite on the other board.

Although I'm rather fasincated with this very intellectual man 10 years older than I who is British and writes a megalomaniac blog and majored in English literature and philosophy etc etc who gives a shite he's just another egotriop like all the other music journalists...it's not a sexual attraction at all, it's just the feeling that this guy could really turn me onto some cool tunes considering how much he and I agree on stuff.
