Cause I don't feel comfortable calling you anymore, really. I know you're in the midst of bad family times, and I'm worried I'd bother you if I called, or you'd just be in a bad mood anyway, and that wouldn't be good.
So I'm gonna write about stuff here. I am listening to this BBC show that features an old live show by Icicle Works. I didn't know they were from Liverpool. I think that's what she said, anyway. Anyway the gig is quite good and I've never been all that much into them before.
Also they are going to play some of an old La's live gig at the end of the show. So there's another 'pool thing for ya.
Julian Cope gets on my nerves, though, I'm sorry. They played "World Shut Your Mouth" early on in this show and I can't STAND that song, never could do.
Oh also another thing they did was play ONE only ONE track from the first Frankie Goes to Hollywood Peel Session. I tell you I am still absolutely furious that someone hasn't figured out a way to release every single Peel Session that ever existed. There is even one song by Can I know of that you can't get anywhere. Only on a f***ing Peel Session and the iron gates of the BBC archives never let shit like that out it's all the Peel Sessions you can't get anywhere even fuckin' Nick Drake recorded a fucking Peel Session but are they going to go into that room of tapes and get the fucking thing released? Are they? NO NO NO they are just going to leave it there in the dark cold dusty storage room like they don't care. Because that's what they do. And it's not fair.
FUCK the BBC.
Okay let's see. Also...
Look at this record in the link below. Just look at the way this record looks, the record, the sleeve. This is absolutely tempting me to buy it I mean look at this thing from 1982:
