The brand new album by The Church is called "Uninvited Like The Clouds". I'm pleased to report that my ears are telling me they're back, man. The band I used to love, they are actually back. Two crappy albums in a row, I thought they might have jumped the shark forever, but what I'm hearing now is very impressive. This is great. Some very deep part of me has missed them a lot. Very nice.

They used to be one of my absolute favourite bands in the world, for years and years and years. This album reminds me of why. Most people only know "Under The Milky Way" or "Reptile".

Also one of the songs is called "Space Needle" - can you beat that? These guys are from Australia and England and Sweden, for fuck's sake.

My bro was a big fan of this band and I subsequently got into them. Maybe I will check out the new one. Of Skins and Heart was a good disc.

It's so nice to hear from you about them Sloth! I was thinking of you when I posted about it. Anyway there is a guy from Australia on the other board that I used to converse with a few years ago and he was just like me he was a big fan who didn't like their last two albums. He says he is going to buy this one.

Okay. BREATHE. Let's not try any fancy sites, let's just calm down and go to amazon. They have a better price than local stores and the official website anyway.

But since I can't figure out the Swedish market for this at all, you can try www.thechurchband.com and then change the little dropdown menu to Swedish currency. But that's if you're desperate I guess.

Confession: I'm actually listening to Robyn Hitchcock acoustic now so I should shut the fuck up about the Church.
