thanks for wishing me well. my b day was great with asurprise b day at 611 and kickball at garfield. i got a great bavaria bike from k.vintage and my aa friends took me to the crescent which is so fucking alcoholic gay you want to admit yourself.
my day ,however, ended up at swedish because a hiv friend kept having seizures, but refused to admit it until we found him with a bloody mouth and no explanation. i took him to the hospital against his will and it turns out he has a tumor. he doesn't know why i took him and keeps asking why. this is awful. no one at p.a. knows this,but i lost my best friend this very similar way. i am very scared.

rosie, all that sounds absolutely gruesome. glad it seems you can roll with the punches and take the good with the bad. this one gay friend of mine is devastated, just a shadow of himself, because all his friends, just about everybody he used to know, is dead or dying. i'm living in a completely different world filled with children and youngish friends, drink, music and small animals, it's a different universe as a matter of fact, i have but a twinkling of idea of what it is like but you have my sympathy.

so for him, seeing the first light of cyber space I'm posting the so rough it cuts diamonds, the first three paras of 'Living in the land of freedom during a time of mass hysteria.' Chapter breaks include- -When the going gets tough the not so tough go play tennis, -the liberal redneck south, -playing pick up soccer with an arab named Osama and a china man who keeps sneezing, -when you are too drunk to DJ throw up.....

I'm going to start this story with Martino. He came to visit me in Seattle, just as I was leaving. Writing this was his idea. He even gave me the title, in a sense. Martino is my agent, so it's in his best interest that this be good. I was, and still am, working on my first novel. The fucking thing is written but editing it is proving to be quite the bitch. So it's still a long process until it's ultimately published, at which point when people ask me what I do I can say writer. It's a dream of mine. I mean, I write all the time, but asked what I do at parties, when confronted by a stranger, as it happens in this society, I just mumble Market Research. I want to tell the truth. Besides, writer just sounds cooler.

Martino was in Seattle closing a deal with me. He now owns all the foreign language rights to my stories for the next couple of years. I'm forever grateful to Martino because he took a chance on me. I owe the Kraut that much. Foreign Language rights- Kraut, yeah you guessed it, Martino is from Frankfurt, Germany. Which brings up a favorite quote of mine from one of my favorite singers? Ã¢â‚¬ËœI pissed myself in Frankfurt, got drunk down in Cologne.'-by Shane MacGown. But shit, here I'm digressing in the second paragraph. I'm sure if I ever took a writing class that this would be frowned upon.

It was the fall of the year 2002. George W. Bush was president of my country, the United Sates of America, because, depending on who you asked, one of those United Sates fucked up the electoral process with incorrect counting, and little things called Ã¢â‚¬Ëœhanging chads'; that state would be Florida. It was widely believed that the man running the country didn't really win the election. I was also to blame, I voted for Ralph Nader, the leader of the Green party; good politics, no support, a wasted vote.

what I posted was off my head, I have the body of work done , just not the begining or end. It is so much better than I posted. have faith. i have to work out getting to the Evil heat and the end of the war, where it will be over. also a girl is writing in with stories and has to be in end cunt. that's my faith in rabbit.
