i have disliked nader ever since he destroyed the corvair, which is one of my favorite cars. i have fond memories of sitting in the back seat of my uncle witold's corvair as he demonstrated its clean oversteering handling characteristics.

what a fun-hating, lawsuit-happy, dour lawyer type nader is. it's funny that PA likes him. and it's strange to me that anybody can justify voting for that anti-presidential protest candidate even after seeing how it got bush elected.

Fisherspooner- I say don't believe the hype. But it was a laugh. I liked the girls little black knickers.

The Corvair was an accident... just waiting to happen. Ditto for the Pinto. Maybe your uncle was a berk like Becker and Borg. Nader was the only candidate who led a life of public service in any way. He may be a creep but God who isn't?

Just because someone evil makes someone stupid look good doesn't mean they deserve a vote.

I still say vote for who you want. Voting against someone you hate is just what they want you to do.

my uncle was a crazy polish architect whos only sins were anti-semitism and having been involved in the design of the world trade center. but he was a wonderful, original, lovable guy.

the pinto was a POS but i think you don't know shit about the corvair. ooh i respect you and all but you shouldn't get prissy and american on the topic of cars. low-center-of-gravity rear-engined cars like the corvair and the porsche are enjoyable and lively, and dangerous for those who are stupid, and thus fitting the PA philosophy. what would you drive, a suv?

I must admit I like the Corvair as well. Despite the fact its not as safe as the rear engined Porsche (or the old Beetle for that matter).

I find it hard to believe your uncle was an anti-semitic German Pole.

If I could have any car it would be a sloth emblazened white limo with a chauffeur.

I think it would be great to get a picture of you and Ingrid waving from a white limo, Sloth. Perhaps holding up a bottle of champagne too. That would be priceless.

McC - are you out there? It's Friday. I just tried calling that number you gave me last week but some guy answered and said you weren't there. If we're gonna get together let's do it today or tomorrow. Doesn't matter what time.
